A free, virtual sound healing space for those with cancer or serious illness, and the loved ones who support them
There are seasons in life that ask everything of us physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Living with cancer or a serious illness, or caring for someone who is, can feel like standing in the middle of a storm with no anchor.
Haven Sound Circle was born from a desire to create that anchor.
It’s here for you to receive the benefits of sound healing if you’re navigating these circumstances, without worrying about money, or other expectations—whether you’re familiar with sound healing or not. Please continue reading to see if this space is right for you.
Therapeutic instruments such as crystal bowls, chimes, and more may be used within a single session. Sound healing works through use of specific musical intervals that both the body and brain waves respond to on a cellular level.
Consistent stress, illness, or emotional overwhelm, can keep the nervous system stuck in a heightened state. A sound bath (a term commonly used to describe a sound healing session) offers a non-invasive way to guide the body out of this state, without requiring effort. All you do is lie down in a comfortable space, put on your headphones, join the Zoom session from your phone or computer, and allow the therapeutic sound to flow through you.
The experience is about creating the conditions where the body, mind, and spirit can gently return to balance.
For those seeking sound healing outside of these circumstances, please visit The Native Path.
There is no rigid schedule. Live sound healing sessions are offered via Zoom, based on availability and the level of interest. Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation and will be notified through email of the time and date of future live sessions. Upcoming sessions will also be posted on Instagram.
This is a space to honor the healing power of sound, and is intentionally inward-focused.
I’m Amy, and I’m a certified Sound Practitioner, Reiki Master, Holistic Health Coach, author, and the founder of The Native Path.
Following personal experiences with significant loss and anxiety, I discovered sound healing as a form of support that soothed me in ways I hadn’t been able to access elsewhere. As I immersed myself in both the science and practice of sound, it became clear that this work was something I was meant to share.
I trained and practiced in New York City for several years, and currently offer sound healing services in person in Asheville, North Carolina, as well as virtually.
I’ve brought sound healing into a wide range of settings, from private and corporate clients to hospital patients and community events. At the heart of my work is a belief in whole-person healing, and in the body’s innate ability to restore harmony when given the right support.
Haven Sound Circle was created after I witnessed the profound effects sound healing had on one of my private clients who was battling cancer, and then hearing feedback from my friends and family about how my 60-minute sound healing track had made such a big difference in soothing both them and their loved ones who were either in hospice, or navigating other serious health challenges.
A way to offer comfort, grounding, and solace through sound to those who need it most, no matter where they are in the world.
